Sam and George – Chickens

Meet Sam and George the chicken farmers – they live here on Stream Farm in a small barn conversion. Their day starts at sunrise when they are out feeding the chickens and bedding them up with straw. Sam is an excellent carpenter and so took it upon himself to rebuild all of our chicken sheds by hand. The result has been that his chickens are now very much more comfortable in both hot and cold weather. It is hard to imagine that any other chickens live as well as his Organic Devonshire Golds.
