All our lambs' skins come from our Pedigree Herd of Hampshire Down Sheep. The quality of life of the sheep as well as the pedigree of the breed are reflected in the thick, rich texture of the wool. The sheepskins are either tanned locally in Bridgwater when they are returned to us white and fluffy or they go up to an organic tannery in North Wales and come back with an even warmer, deeper colour. Both types of sheepskins make for terrific throws or rugs and those that have been through the organic tanning process are ideal for babies’ prams, cots and cribs. The Sheepskins sell for £42 for those tanned locally and £55 for those tanned organically. They can be delivered locally to the farm or within SW London.
