We planted 928 apple trees of 6 different varieties in 2007 to form a new orchard on one of the South-facing hills on the farm. Bramleys, Red Windsor, Red Devils, Egremont Russet, Red Windsor, Red Falstaff have all taken root well. Our first full crop should be able to be harvested in 2010 and our plan is to create our own unique blend of organic apple juice and to sell it in glass bottles in much the same way as we sell spring water.
